Only 728 Shopping days until the Presidential sale......

The anesthesia has worn off...

Thank goodness we the people regained our collective sense of smell yesterday. I am lucky to be home very sick, so I got to watch the results on many networks and rejoiced that we now seem to have a legislative duality going on.

Now, we can begin to hose off America's reputation around the world, culminating in 728 days in a new president-elect not named Bush (though Jeb is out of a job in Fla.) and hopefully someone without mean sprirted ideas.

We now have (by all accounts) Nancy Peliosi (D-CA) as our next Speaker of the House and third in line to the presidency. I do believe that Bush and Chaney's Secret Service Details will be increased 10 fold. No way will she get a chance to run the country in the next two years.

I really like several things about her:
Also in Baltimore, with the election of now Governor Elect Martin O'Malley, Baltimore now has the first Black Female mayor in its history. Congrats Shelia Dixon. Now, start your 2007 campaign in 5...4...3...2...1...

Ah, progress is slow but it is still progress.

Coming soon links to get you ready for 2008.. remember its only 728 days away. Now is the time to study and sharpen your ideas to become a better citizen and participate in 2007 and 2008.
